Who We Are​

The NDRRMC is headed by Mr P. Budhoo, Deputy Commissioner of Police/ Commanding Officer of the Special Mobile Force (SMF). All activities of the NDRRMC are overseen by the Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Council. 

The NDRRMC has staff working dealing on all aspects of disaster management work activities, including Mitigation, Preparedness, Risk Assessment, Response, Recovery & Relief and Reconstruction. Within these pillars are individual work streams that cover disaster monitoring, education, community mobilisatoin, risk transfer, response planning, preparedness campaigns amongst other initiatives.
